Lyon, France, June 26th, 2023 – OREGA Biotech announces that the first patient was enrolled in MATISSE, a Phase 2 multicentre single-arm study evaluating neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment with IPH5201, an anti-CD39 blocking monoclonal antibody, combined with durvalumab (anti-PD-L1) and chemotherapy in treatment-naïve patients with resectable early-stage NSCLC.
The MATISSE trial (NCT05742607) will assess antitumour activity of neoadjuvant treatment based on pathological complete response, and safety.
About IPH5201
IPH5201 is a humanised CD39-blocking antibody co-developed by Innate Pharma and AstraZeneca. OREGA Biotech entered into an exclusive worldwide license agreement with Innate Pharma in 2016; AstraZeneca partnered the antibody in 2018 and conducted a Phase 1 trial in advanced solid tumours.
