POST-DOCTORAL POSITION funded by ANR

Together with OREGA Biotech, a start-up committed to the development of innovative immunotherapeutics for cancer, the INSERM U896 is recruiting a Post-Doc. The position is available for 24 months with a possible extension to 36 months in the Immunity & Cancer team, headed by Nathalie BONNEFOY, at the Institut de Recherche en Cancérologie de Montpellier.
The successful candidate will be in charge of a research program dedicated to the study of pro-oncogenic properties of novel targets recently identified by OREGA Biotech and to the characterization, both in vitro and in vivo, of newly generated therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
She or he will be responsible for experiment plans as well as for interpretation and communication of the results. She or he will participate to internal R&D OREGA Biotech’s meetings. She or he will be in charge of study reports, and will participate to manuscripts and grants writing.
Applicants should have a solid background in oncology and immunology, with strong expertise in cell biology and in vivo mouse models for cancer, such as:
- graft of tumor cells (both xenograft and syngenic models)
- cell culture (tumor cell lines, purification of hematopoietic stem cells)
- flow cytometry
- cell biology (apoptosis, migration, invasion)
- PCR and Rt-PCR
- western blot
An expertise in the establishment of humanized mouse model would be appreciated.
